If your looking for a more natural approach for baby and mom items Weleda just might be what your searching for. We tested some no tears baby shampoo and body wash, and some body oils. Something for me and something for The White Rabbit.
Since 1921, Weleda has used Biodynamic and organic ingredients in skincare and medicines to promote natural harmony and health. Weleda has very clear standards for their products. All Weleda products are FREE of synthetic preservatives, fragrances, colorants and raw materials derived from mineral oils, as well as genetically modified organisms (GMO’s).
The shampoo and body wash really is no tears. It comes out like a thick, white lotion. We found the odor to be very mild. It lathered up really nice, and unlike our previous soap did not leave my son’s skin as dry.
I really like the variety of the body oil gift set. You can buy each kind in a larger bottle, but this is a great way to try each one and see what you like.
The best time to use body oils is when the skin is still moist, ideally after a bath or shower. When the skin is damp, it is able to draw in more of the skin-softening benefits and nourishment encapsulated within. Body oils may be used as regular, everyday body moisturizers or for a massage.
The oils are a massage oil mixed with essential oils. I found the lavender oil was great in the evenings, especially when we were struggling with bed time.
